Contract employment
generally refers to periods of more than three months the contract
providing an employee with a written agreement that outlines
everything that a standard employment contract would but adding
the period that the contract covers. Within the motor sector,
most contracts are with manufacturers, supply companies or
insurance and finance players although at Change we provide
a contract service for a number of our franchised motor dealer
clients. At the moment our out-sourced programmes tend to centre
round the finance and insurance side of the dealership at Business
Manager level although this is branching out into Fleet Sales,
Local Business and Marketing roles. On a more general basis
however, contracts can be for any management level of role
where you are looking at for example maternity/paternity leave.
