In 2005 the motor industry changed with the intervention of the FSA in ensuring that dealership staff were compliant in the administering, selling, claims handling, complaints handling and marketing of insurance related products. This followed similar legislation in the mortgage and life insurance markets. 

Change have responded to this by developing an FSA system that could hold data on all of your employees, and any courses taken could then be lodged against the employees personal record and all future training could therefore be prompted, hence establishing a CPD, Continuous Programme of Development.  This has been further enhanced by the addition of online modules for refresher training, which are also prompted at the appropriate points, either six monthly or annually.  In terms of insurance sales details, the FSA system will also allow you to log the full sales details against all of your employees and call off reports of your choosing.
